Cabin soles are 1/2" teak planks inlaid with maple strips on 1" solid core ply.  All hull fastenings are copper rivets and the keel bolts are stainless steel. Amber Sky was built to the highest standards with the best wooden boatbuilding materials available (the oldest wooden building on earth, a 1300 year-old temple in Japan, is constructed of Hinoki).
